Hi, I'm Shelly...

Hi and welcome! I am so glad you are here. I am a portrait photographer based in Spencer, Iowa, specializing in newborn, maternity, senior, and family photography. I also offer cake smashes, which might just be my favorite sessions because they are messy, joyful, and full of personality. Photography is my part time passion alongside a full time job, and I have been behind the camera for over 10 years capturing real moments and real connections.

When I am not taking photos, you can usually find me traveling, gardening, taking in live music with my hubby, riding my Harley, or spending quality time with my family. I am usually always taking photos though to soak in as many memories as I can and sharing them with all my friends & family, and creating "My Story". I love a good shopping trip and even better conversations over coffee or wine with great friends and lots of laughter.
